It’s the day after Election Day and everyone has a lot on their minds. I too have an opinion on the events of late. Although I am choosing not to discuss my thoughts, I encourage everyone to remember that everything happens for a reason. This is the time to stand together, boldly united.
Anyways, on to a lighter topic. Stress of change calls for relief right? Well, this weekend ahead of us has a lot in store. Thursday and Friday I’m focusing on some new things. Thursday sounds like a perfect day to enjoy the outdoor right before catching some football. The Browns and The Ravens play at 8:30pm. If I was going for anyone it’d be the Ravens, for obvious reasons of you have kept up with this season.
As you all know, or if you don’t, I’m on my healthy lifestyle journey, so I’ll be cooking some veggies and chicken kabobs as opposed to some delicious, greasy wings. They will be bomb though, I am excited! Red peppers, green peppers, onions, squash, and chicken. What’s better?
As far as Friday goes, like any other girl, I’ll be prepping for Saturday. Have you all heard of Caked Apparel? If not, you should check out her site (cakedapparel.com, or store at 3201 Beaties Ford road). Make sure you use my discount code: QueenLo10 for a 10% discount! That’s where I’ll be headed to get right this weekend. She styles me too so anyone with an event, performance, or photo shoot; hit her up to style you! (@cakedapparel)
Let’s get to this weekend though! Saturday from 4pm-8pm, Miller Lite is providing a free concert to the public! Rich Homie Quan will be performing live at the Epicenter. I have never been to a Miller Lite event, but I’m assuming beer is the main course of the event. If you haven’t gotten a ticket yet check out (mlkickback.com/guestcode), but I believe it’s too late. I’ll be there and I hope to see some of you as well!
Also, Driven Automotive and Jraa Productions have come together again for another event at Trust! For me, the most exciting part is JxHines performing. His song “Benihana” always makes me feel like it’s my birthday, gets me hype every time without failure. “Love and Hip Hop’s” own Safaree will also be in the building hosting along with Jraa (a.k.a. Turn Up) and myself, Queen Lo. Dj Jayy Hawk from Streetz 103.3 will also be there, so come support! He is definitely out in the city doing big things.
Sunday is supposed to be pretty chilly, but the sun will be out. Perfect for football and a Carolina Panthers home game. I love going to Slate to watch the game (beside Oak Room). It will be a party there for sure. I would rather be at the game though. Who has tickets?
Like I said before though, everything is everything. Stand tall and strong. See you guys this weekend and thanks again for checking in!
