After their #1 song, “Bad and Bougie,” hit the street it was only up for the YRN artists, the Migos. Shortly after the release of the song featuring Lil Uzi Vert, it hit Billboard Hot 100 and quickly shot to the top of the charts.
Following the drop of #3 on the album, “Call Casting” earlier this year, the hype for the trending Atlanta rappers only rose. They kept up the momentum by releasing another song, “T-Shirt,” shortly after. Both songs are featured on “Culture.”
The video for the current banger, “T-Shirt,” is epic, detailed, and extremely creative. It’s based in the snow covered mountains and immediately captures your attention. It’s the small things that count in this video. Peep the Pyrex in the pot on the camp fire.
Now Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff have dropped their 13 track album and everyone is excited to hear it. With features from Lil Uzi, Travis Scott, Gucci Mane, and 2 Chains as well as an intro from Dj Khaled, there’s no denying that they have lots of support from major industry artists.
Production wise Metro Boomin, Cardo, Zaytoven, Nard & B, 808 Mafia, & Murda Beatz all had a hand in putting together this masterpiece. It’s not hard to say there will be multiple hits on their newest project. With the collab of so many artistic individuals, it can only breed success.
When asked about the album Offset said:
“The new album title is about the culture of hip-hop music, It’s time to let the culture be known. It’s time to claim it. And it’s time to claim that we are the Migos, and for people to understand that this is what we did. We did a lot for music. Migos is the culture. Seriously. There are artists that are way bigger than us that get recognition off our flow.”
I can sure agree with that statement. The Migos have been making major moves in the industry and influencing many, artists and fans alike.
