It’s only three months into the year and artists like Future, Chance the Rapper, and even Kodak Black are making waves on the Hip Hop scene. Future is still on top of the Billboard charts for R&B/ Hip-Hop Albums, Chance is winning awards left and right, and Kodak is creeping towards the top with his song ‘Tunnel Vision’ reaching #2 on Billboard’s  chart for R&B/Hip-Hop streaming songs.

Bibi Bourelly

Bibi is a German alternative R&B artist who takes no sh*t. Signed to Def Jam, her talent doesn’t end at her voice. Aside from her international hits, she has also written and co-written songs for Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Usher, and Lil Wayne. In 2015 she came out with singles ‘Riot’ and ‘Ego’ before releasing her debut album in 2016. Later in the year she made her first television appearance on Jimmy Fallon. In November 2016 she released the second half of her album, ‘Free The Real pt.2’.You can stream her most current hit ‘Ballin’ below:

This rapper from Atlanta has been on our radar since last year when he released two songs with Future, ‘My Brothers’ and ‘Can’t Lie’. In less than one year he has been in two near death accidents, but walked away unscathed (read about it here). Other than his flashy style and difficult backstory, he is also well known for basically being the only rapper who is openly Muslim. Last month (February 12th), he signed a million dollar contract with Gucci Mane’s 1017 Eskimo Records, saying he signed with Gucci because Gucci knows what it is like to be in jail and doesn’t want to go back and neither does he. (You can watch his interview about him signing with Gucci here). He can be found all over Worldstar and his most popular song right now is ‘My Brothers’ which you can watch below!

Young M.A.

With 3 new projects on the way Young MA is coming hard for 2017. Last year when she released her hit “OOOUUU,”  which has reached over 192 million views on YouTube and peaked at #5 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop, she made her mark on the Hip Hop scene. The Brooklyn artist will be dropping 1 of her 2 upcoming EPs by the end of the month (March) and says it will be a warm up to her debut studio album ‘The Making Of Her Story’. Recently she released new single ‘Hot Sauce’ which you can stream below:

Pronounced Black, this Atlanta artist has been ringing bells in the blogs a lot lately. Known for his single ‘Prblms‘, this artist isn’t just known throughout the US but also internationally. He has upcoming shows in Berlin, London, and Paris this month (March). He recently dropped his debut album ‘Free 6lack’ and it charts at #5 for Top Rap Album and ranks on 5 others. His most recent song is with a favorite in the R&B/HipHop community, Jhene Aiko. Tilted ‘First F*ck’, you can stream it below. There will be lots to expect from this Interscope artist in the coming months.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie

Also known as A Boogie, this Bronx born artist is signed to Atlantic records and made some major waves last year when he released his self titled mixtape ‘Artist’. That project landed him on Forbes up coming rappers list and started his career in the spotlight. He has opened for Drake and Future on their ‘Summer 16’ tour on three separate occasions as well. You may know him from being affiliated with Don Q and their song ‘Bag On Me‘, but his most well known song is ‘My Sh*it’ (watch below).
