First of all, can we talk about how Snoop just released his 15th studio album, Neva Left? He’s been rapping longer than I’ve been alive and there is no end in sight for the Long Beach artist.
The album’s cover art bring us back to his days with Dr. Dre and reminds us of 90’s rap and Hip Hop culture. His album lasts 1 hour and 1 minute with 16 songs and multiple features. You can find K-Camp, Too $hort, Stresmatic, Wiz Khalifa, and many more on the smooth album.
Since the release, he has, of course, promoted his album which has brought him into radio interviews as well. That’s where he dropped the news of his upcoming project, a gospel album.
During his interview on The Pharmacy show on Beats1 Radio, he let all of his interviewers and their listeners know that his next release will be geared towards God and will be collaborative with none other than Faith Evans. Of course, he revealed this major news in the only way Snoop knows how, calmly, but no one else feels calm about this. He said, “It’s always been on my heart. I just never got around to it because I always be doing gangsta business or doing this or doing that.”
Although we don’t know if this release will even be this year, we are all excited for a new vibe. Listen to Snoop below to hear for yourself.
Who just jumped out their skin ready to hear it?
