Remy Ma Performs Shether At Summer Jam

Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj have been beefing for a while now. Nicki dropped a few disses here and there. “Swalla,” her song with Jason Derulo, Gucci’s “Make Love,” and “No Frauds” are direct hits towards Remy. Their beef came to a head back in February when Remy dropped her “diss heard ’round the world,” “ShEther,” but Nicki didn’t respond, and it seemed to die down since. Yet, a few days ago, another blow from Nicki was heard during 2-Chainz’ listening party on their new collab on “Realize.” Unfortunately for Nicki, it was right in time for the Summer Jam concert and Remy was ready to hit back even harder.

Summer Jam was epic for many reasons, we got to see Remy’s nip slip, but it’s mostly due to Remy’s entirely bold actions during her set. Yeah, she came out and dissed Nicki, but let’s talk about what lead up to her performance.

Not only did the Bronx artist come at her neck June 11th with “ShEther,” but she also brought every other female rapper, besides the Cash Money Queen, on stage. Young M.A., fellow cast member, Cardi B, Lil Kim, and the OG’s, Queen Latifah, Rah Digga, MC Lyte, and Monie Love came to show solidarity as women while Remy performed “U.N.I.T.Y.” The Terror Squad counterpart verbalized her want to bring ALL of the Queens of Hip Hop together, obviously leaving out her arch nemesis, Nicki.
Yet, the U.N.I.T.Y. didn’t last long before Nicki made her appearance. I don’t mean to perform though. Remy Ma pulled a Jay Z, and performed her diss track with images of Nicki on the Summer Jam screens. Many artists have said they would show out something similiar, but few have followed through.

Nicki has yet to respond, but we will see how long this beef continues.
Who’s team are you on? Nicki Minaj or Remy Ma?
