French Montana’s ‘Jungle Rules’ Release Soon Come

Last year was a bit rough on Moroccan artist French Montana. Looking to release his to-be sophomore album, Mac & Cheese 4, it was leaked early causing it to be scrapped by the record label. It was a pretty hard hit for French and they later dropped the project as a mixtape. Since the leak though, he still came out on top with a major worldwide hit.

“Unforgettable” has been certified Platinum in America, yet also charted elsewhere. Featuring Swae Lee, one part of Rae Shremmurd, the song has been certified gold in the UK and platinum again in Sweden! French has been on a roll since, traveling and of course, working on some new music.

During his BET Award’s performance, he dropped some major news about his upcoming album, Jungle Rules. While performing “Unforgettable” beside Swae Lee, his cover art for the album was projected behind him. This will be his official sophomore album since his Excuse My French album released in 2013. You can check out the cover art for Jungle Rules below.

We don’t know much other than it’s release date, Friday, July 14th, and that his hit single “Unforgettable” will be included. According to XXL, Pharrell is also expected to appear on the album. French has been teasing new work with his longtime friend, Max B and The Weeknd as well.  Max B is currently serving time in prison for a murder committed back in 2006 and although he was sentenced to 75 years, he is possibly looking at a shorter sentence of 2-6 years. Only time will tell though. Nonetheless, that collab should be expected in the near future and possibly as a single before Jungle Rules drops.

That’s all we know for now, but continue to check in for more updates. Until then watch the video for “Unforgettable” below:
