Wasshpoppin This Week In HipHop

It’s Thursday, so you already know what that means! We’re gonna talk about what we can expect this coming week.

Mr.Davis – Gucci Mane

As most of you know, the talk of the month has been Gucci’s upcoming 4th studio album this year, Mr. Davis. The anticipated album already had some confirmed hits. “I Get The Bag,” featuring Migos and “Make Love” with the slowly slipping Nicki Minaj can both be seen on the track list, along side songs with Big Sean, Monica, Schoolboy Q, A$AP Rocky, and Slim Jxmmi.

Unfortunately, the set date for September 15th has now been altered a bit. Which honestly threw me off. I was already planning my night around its release: Put my daughter to bed, throw on some sweats, and hop in my car for a drive around the city and some fye tunes. Well, my dreams were crushed yesterday when I found out the horrible news that Mr. Davis will indeed be pushed back till October 13th.
Luckily, Mr.Davis released a new single, “Curve,” from his self-titled project which features The Weeknd. You can listen to that new track below.

We Want Smoke – Hustle Gang

Now, I’m never checking for T.I., but it’s been a year since he and his Hustle Gang crew released a compilation project.

This Friday, the ATL group drops We Want Smoke which features a few newer names affiliated with the clique. Tokyo Jetz, RaRa, London Jae, and Young Booke can all be expected to be a part of the album, along with B.o.B., Trae The Truth, Young Dro, and of course T.I. himself.

They’ve released two singles already both with videos. “Do No Wrong” can find found on the New Music Videos tab, or by clicking here; and “Friends,” their latest video is right down there.
