Qveen Herby “Wifey”
I don’t know much about this artist, but what I do know is: this song and video are both dope af.
Raven Felix ft. Wiz Khalifa “Job Done”
Taylor Gang has a bit of diversity within their clique. Raven is one of their artists. I like her style and she blends well with Wiz’s vibe. Seems like a good fit.
Lil Pump “Gucci Gang”
This video is crisp but might be the last of its kind on my page, to an extent… I am so tired of the repetitive “do drugs and buy designer” dialogue that’s so predominant these days.
Lil Baby “My Drip”
Young Thug isn’t featured on this track, but it’s clear Lil Baby has his co-sign. My favorite track from this upcoming artist is “Minute” right now. Yet, with all the new songs dropping these days, it’s probably bound to change any time now.
YoungBoy Never Broke Again “GG (Remix)”
In this song he says he is 17. #1, that explains a lot. #2 where the hell is his parental guidance, a guardian, something! Take that gun out of his hands and teach him his worth, please….. What do you guys think about this artist?
Tee Grizzley “Win”
Yeah… so I don’t know what it is exactly, but all of Tee’s tracks sound the same. Maybe he needs a new producer. Either way, here is his latest visual.
Amine “Spice Girl”
No one has a video quite like Amine’s. He is on the top of my list when it comes to the XXL Freshman class.
Ralo ft Lil Durk “Chiraqistan”
Decked out in militant gear, ATL artist Ralo links with Durk in Chicago for their latest collab.
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie “Drowning”
Follow along as A Boogie’s team visually tells a story of a jewelry heist gone bad.
Xxxtentacion “Look at Me”
I am not sure what I think of this. Very interesting to say the least……
Jessie Reyes “Great One”
I know every word on every song from her EP, Kiddo. This Canadian artist is EVERYTHING. She says how she feels and I love her for it.
Fre$h ft. 50 Cent and 2 Chainz “Petty”
This Houston rapper, once known as Short Dawg from Lil Wayne’s Young Money clique, has been in this rap game for a while. Now he enlisted 50 and Tity Boi for his latest single.
Hood Celebrityy ft. Josh X, Cardi B, and Young Chow ” Island Girls”
Big prayers gotta go to our “Island Girls” and everyone else out there in this hurricane. Cardi really bodied this video though and added a perfect compliment to the song.
Princess Nokia “Flava”
If you don’t already know this New York princess, do go check out an interview! She is an example of true art and strength. You can check out her latest video below, a true testament to sisterhood.
Black Boe & Sonny Digital “Been Had”
Love GT Films for the direction and editing, the song gets you on your feet, and makes you wanna listen one more time.
This song is off of their new collab project The Black Goat.
Young Greatness “We Rollin'”
Not a banger, but a good song nonetheless. Young Greatness has the talent, but it could be past his time for a comeback from his well-known hit “Moolah.” What do you guys think?
Rich Homie Quan ft. Cyko “Safe”
This song is off of Rich Homie’s latest project, Back To The Basics, and I feel like that’s exactly where he is with his music. Like Young Greatness, I feel like RHQ has some catching up to do.
Smino “Nertflix and Dusse”
Smino takes the classic “netflix and chill” vibes to the drive in theatre in this smooth video.
Milan Hightower “Power Of The G”
Ooooohhhh, if y’all haven’t heard Milan’s new EP Dirty Sauce God, you’re sleeeep! Go cop it now on Spotify, Apple Music, and Google Play!
K Camp “Good Problem”
Oooooo, this video was well thought out! Watch K Camp’s latest video as we follow him through different exhibits as if we are walking through a museum. The visuals are so creative and the song is catchy too!
Khalid “Young Dumb & Broke”
Picture your high school year book in video form, then add some fitting music and the perfect color grade… what do you get? Khalid’s new video, an anthem for the youth and a memory for the aged. It wouldn’t be in year book style if there weren’t superlatives included as well. Of course, Khalid takes the title of prom king!
Dave East “My Dirty Little Secret”
Straight off Paranoia, his latest project, Dave takes us on a trip with his undercover lover.
Jaden Smith “Watch Me”
Jaden is the epitome of rockstar rapper and puts that on full display in this energetic video. This song is one of his singles from his upcoming debut album, SYRE.
H.E.R. “Every Kind Of Way” Short Film
If you haven’t heard of H.E.R., you need to check this short film out right now! Inspired by her music, this is a nostalgic 10-minute masterpiece that gives out the best vibes ever!!!!
Cardi B “Bodak Yellow”
Cardi is my new fashion icon. Check out why:
A$AP Twelvyy “Strapped”
I like A$AP Mob. They all support eachother and their videos always incorporate cool throwback clips.
Kap G ft. Kapfe “CEO”
Straight off his SupaJefe mixtape, Kap G has release another video for one of the songs. He is one of my favorite XXL Freshman and I’m excited for what else he has in store for us this year. Check my interview with Kap G here.
Justine Skye ft Jeremih “Back For More”
This is exactly how guys are these days… Do I sound bitter? I’m not, it’s just real. He will be back for more, but will you be there for him to come back to?
Don Q ” Oh You Da Plug?”
Don Q’s feature on “Diamonds” by Young Scooter is how he caught my attention. Now, Don Q and his team get cinematic with this video. He is dating the plug’s daughter and things go sideways for the father.
Phresher ft. Cardi B “Right Now”
This is the first song I have heard from Phresher. He definitely has an interesting sound and this song, in particular, has potential. Also, Cardi B has been impressing me lately. Can’t wait to see what she has for us next!
Kap G “Rings”
I honestly don’t care what ya’ll think and I know a lot don’t agree, but Kap G is the hardest working freshman and he has hits. This is one of my favorite songs off of his recent debut album, Supa Jefe.
